I am running the Glasgow half marathon on the 6th of September and the Henley half marathon on the 11th of October to raise money for Tenovus Scotland.
I appreciate that we are living in challenging economic times and people already have a range of charitable commitments, but any contribution, no matter how small, would make a huge difference to this worthwhile cause.
Tenovus Scotland supporting medical research was founded in 1967 and is Scotland's leading independent charity for funding initial feasibility studies. It has raised ten million pounds for research since it began and places over 90 pence in every pound raised directly into medical research.
Studies recently passed for Tenovus Scotland include funding research relating to cystic fibrosis, chemistry of the living brain, neuro degeneration, ions, heart disease and growth problems in children.
Many thanks!
Kevin
