Story

The most recent tour of duty of Afghanistan by the Royal Irish Regiment, really brought home to us just how dangerous the work being done by the young men and women of the Royal Irish Regiment on our behalf is.

The regiment lost Rangers Aaron McCormick and David Dalzell as well as Lance Corporal Stephen McKee and other men with life changing injuries in their latest tour.

This moved Andrew and Scott to try and raise as much money as they could for the Royal Irish Benevolent Fund before entering Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and embarking on their own Army career's.

So the challange to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest mountain began.

The Boys have funded the trip themselves so every penny raised will go to the Royal Irish Benevolent Fund and they hope to raise as much money as possible in their '30 day fundraising challange' to help the men and familes of those who were injured in their nation's service.
