Portage is a regular home-visiting educational service for under 5s with additional support needs and their families. Personalised play and learning, goals and support are offered to involve the family in the care and development of the child, focussing on their child's development, building on abilities and strengths, not difficulties.

<p>&nbsp;Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am trying to raise money for the Rathbone family.</p> <div class="frp-message clearfix dotted-border-blue"> <div id="story" class="frp-message-body" style="height: auto;"> <p>&nbsp;I have copied Anna's page in memory of William so that you know a little more about the two boys whose memory we want to celebrate and keep alive. Anna &amp; Ste have worked tirelessly to raise money for each of the charities that helped them during the boys short lives and I would be grateful if people would be able to help me to do the same</p> <p>William Rathbone 01/06/2007 - 28/12/2008</p> <p>Neaven Rathbone 01/06/2007- 01/06/2007</p> <p>'I was having identical twins I found out 2 days before new years eve that one twin would die after birth.&nbsp;I was offered all the selective reduction procedures but&nbsp;I knew&nbsp;I couldnt do that.&nbsp;I know anencephaly is not compatible with life but&nbsp;I loved both my boys <br />William was born twinty minutes after his twin NEAVEN rathbone. he was a footlong breech and we had a difficult labour. William was born in respiratory distress. he was on a ventilator and was in hosp for a month. when William came home he was on oxygen permanently and still was for all 19 months of his life. William was disabled he had no head control had developement delay, lung disease a neuro disorder macrocephaly, peg feed epilepsy and others. however william was very alert very smiley. William was always laughing and chuckling he couldnt talk but he chuckled when he wanted you. he was so little but the gap he leaves is tremendous. Williams apnoea mat went off on sunday morning 28th of december his dad got him and we both did&nbsp;CPR until the ambulance came William was taken to warrington hospital where he passed away</p> </div> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
