I am doing this walk to raise money for Syrian orphans and refugee children. According to UNICEF, 5.6 million - yes 5.6 million - Syrian children are in need of assistance. Many of them have been orphaned by the conflict, now in its fifth terrible year, with no end in sight.

I will be coming together with hundreds of people to walk in unity and remember this humanitarian crisis. I will be Stepping Up for those innocent children who have been made orphans and refugees.

Human Care Syria currently have 10 Schools up and running between Syria and Turkey hosting 250-300 students and thousands more who want to go back to school. By stepping up for Syria Human Care Syria can open and run many more schools, giving Syrian refugees the chance to rebuild their dreams, and also provide opportunities for adults to earn a livelihood.
