At Kinderland Day Nursery we wanted to help the people of Haiti, the massive earthquake that hit Haiti recently has been horrific. Thousands are feared dead or injured, with homes and buildings destroyed or damaged in what is thought to be the worst quake to hit the island in 200 years.
Starting Monday 8th February 2010 until Friday 12th February 2010, the staff and children will wear as many colours as possible. Each day we will count up the amount of colours and take lots of photo's for you all to see. Friday we will post the total we reach.
All the money we raise will go to World Vision. World Vision is one of the worlds largest and most experienced providers of emergency relief. With 370 staff working in Haiti and emergency supplies pre-positioned in the capital, they are distributing food, essential medical supplies and survival kits containing water, blankets and soap.
