Team Kinetic running for Mercy in Action!
A ten strong team from Kinetic Solutions Ltd, a local business based in Cranfield, will be running in the Milton Keynes Half Marathon on 17th July to raise money for Mercy in Action. Various fundraising activities have already been undertaken by Kinetic Solutions including bake sales, book sales, wristband sales, and more events are planned for the very near future including sponsored swim and cycle challenges.
“We’ve had fantastic turnout of runners at Kinetic Solutions and we’re really excited and looking forward to taking part in the MK Half Marathon. We are lucky to have really enthusiastic staff who are very supportive. We’re hoping to raise as much money as possible for Mercy in Action to help them with some specific projects they are currently working on in the Philippines with street children. The work they are doing to help these children and their families is vital and we want to help enable them to continue their good work.”
Mercy in Action was founded in 1995 and has since been providing vital housing, medicine, food and schooling for “street boys” and poor families in the Philippines.
