Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Having completed my first 10K race in February, I felt it was time to move on to the next challenge. The logical thing would be to sign up for a half marathon or marathon, but as registration seems to have closed most of the Spring races, I decided to opt for the next obvious alternative - a 100K (62 miles) ultra marathon from London to Brighton.
With only nine weeks to train, it's fair to say that I won't be running the whole thing, but it will still be a challenge!
In order to take part, I have to raise a minimum of £375.00 in charity donations, half of which must be submitted by 11th April. With such a short time frame, this will be a challenge in itself, but a very worthwhile one as I will be raising money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of my dad.
So whether you want to support The British Heart Foundation or just see if it is possible to for me complete 100K with nine weeks of training, please donate what you can - every pound helps!
Many thanks
Kirsten
