My fluffy Friends, I've done it, I've reached the heights... 5,895 metres in fact, and it bloody hurt.
Shortly after sunrise on 26 June, eight friends and I clawed our way up the final few metres to the top of Africa's highest mountain, Tanzania's Kilimanjaro. This was without doubt one of the toughest things I've ever done, still, we ate well, slept safely and returned home to our comfortable lives. Many of our hosts are not so fortunate.
