Amazingly a year has passed already and the Norwich half marathon looms in the near future. This year I am supporting the Matthew Project and really want to raise as much as possible - thats where you come in. The Matthew Project is a Norfolk drugs and alcohol agency working with people of all ages and backgrounds to tackle addiction and provide support to those affected by it - both users and their families. As you probably know, I work for the Matthew Project and therefore see first-hand the lives that are improved by the service. Over the course of my first year with the Matthew Project I have heard some amazing stories and met inspirational people who have turned their lives around with the support of the organisation.
I hope to beat last year's race time of 2 hours so have been training extra hard to get really speedy. If anyone is willing to increase their donation if I beat my time this would be an excellent incentive for me and would really motivate me on the cold rainy training runs!
