Story
I shall be cycling from Lands End to John o'Groats from the 8th to 23rd May 2010 as part of Joseph Holt's appeal to raise £250,000 for the reception area for the new Christie Radiology Centre currently being built in Salford. The route we are taking covers a distance of 1104 miles and involves climbing over 72,000ft. Just to make it more interesting we are going via the Isles of Arran, Mull, Skye and Lewis.
For every £1 donated the Company, through the Edward Holt and Peter Kershaw Trusts, will donate £2 up to the total required.
The Christie was in part founded by my Great Grandfather, Sir Edward Holt, in 1914 when he raised £20,000 through an open appeal. Please give generously so that we can surpass that total today.
