My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My name is Martin Morgan and I am aiming to break the current Land's End to John o' Groats Return World Record from 20th - 25th August 2012.
Teenage Cancer Trust is a charity that is close to my heart. I have adopted their ethos and like them, I want to ensure that every young person with cancer, and their family, receive the best possible care and professional support throughout their cancer journey.
I have competed at Regional, National and International competitions in the sport of Taekwondo. I have achieved titles at each level, including British Junior National Champion. I was also placed 4th after reaching the Quarter Finals of the Junior World Championships and have been invited for London 2012 Olympic Trials during my career.
In addition to my competition results, I was selected as a Young Ambassador for promoting the London 2012 Olympics to the younger generation. My work here saw me shortlisted to attend the Beijing Olympics as guest of the British Olympic Foundation.
Away from the Taekwondo arena, I have also organised and completed the Land's End to John o' Groats Cycle Ride and the National 3 Peaks Challenge both as part of a team.
This World Record Attempt is the perfect opportunity for me to raise funds to help young people deal with a disease that touches so many of us across the world.
I would really appreciate your donations, no matter how great or small as every penny is a step of progress towards my aims and the aims of the charity.
Thank you for taking time to read this and for your donations.

Charity Registration No. 1062559
Every day in the UK, six teenagers are diagnosed with cancer. At Teenage Cancer Trust, we understand that cancer doesn’t stop these teenagers being teenagers. We know that young people have a much better chance if they are treated by teenage cancers experts, in an environment tailored to their needs. So we have created specialist units that aren’t like ordinary cancer wards. Everything about them has been designed to give teenagers the very best chance of a positive outcome. And we want every young person with cancer in this country to have that chance.
