My story

 

 

I  am doing this walk to raise money for the Chest Heart and Stroke Association of Scotland, which helped me during my recovery from the stroke I had when having an operation to remove a brain tumour. I will be walking around Arthur's Seat in Holyrood Park, with Susan Duncan my physiotherapist and husband John. I will be taking part in the Big Fun Run (well for me, walk!), and it is 3 miles. This will be a big challenge for me, as I have only walked one mile up to now, since getting out of the wheelchair.
