Living Streets walking relay · 17 May 2013 ·

Living Streets is the UK charity dedicated to making walking and wheeling the natural choice for everyday journeys. Founded in 1929 as the Pedestrians’ Association, our mission is to create safer, healthier, and more inclusive streets for everyone.

Story

My name's Basil - I'm the wistful and mysterious one from the National Walking Month 2013 illustrations.

I've set up this fundraising page on behalf of all of my team-mates at Living Streets cos, frankly, none of them are as photogenic as me.

On 17 May 2013, we will all be pounding the pavements in a 24-hour, nationwide relay to raise awareness and promote National Walking Month.

In London we'll be walking the Square Mile around the city with the Walk to School mascot Strider, while regionally staff will be virtually passing the baton around the country!

The funds we raise will help Living Streets promote its vision of safe, attractive and enjoyable streets, where people want to walk.

Give what you can to keep us walking!
