As many of you will know last year I took part in the Dragon Boat Race to raise funds for MIND and the Headway Trust. Alas this year, due to surgery, I will be unable to compete however a close friend, Sarah Hill, is taking my place in the boat crew. Our aim, as last year, is for each crew member to raise a minimum of £125 - I raised £220 last year, in order to do this I will be supporting Sarah and the team, on the day, and joining forces with Sarah to obtain sponsorship. Like last year we can take cash donations, pledges or on-line donations, after the event we will have photos of the event for you to see.  Thanks once more for your continued support for this effective, and enjoyable, event which not only raises much needed funds but also raises awareness of the charities taking part and the important work they do.
