Hi all,

I was a Normal, fit 37 yr old gal but nearly a year ago my life changed forever. I was diagnosed with an inoperable Grade 2 Glioma Brain Tumour.  Post biopsy I had a bleed in my brain and was left with a right sided paralsis, to say I was ill was an understatement.  Along the way i had 6 weeks of radiotherapy, reactions to drugs, withdrawal from morphine, and gained 3 stone in 6 weeks, DOUBLE BOOOO!!!

So now ive lost the weight I have my MOJO back, im running and im loving life again.  So this is where you come in, myself and 30 amazing family and friends are going to take part in THE WOLF RUN in april 2014.  Its a 10K run over 20 obstacles, its a great excuse to get down and dirty with complete strangers!!!!  No seriously I want to raise as much money for the charity.

Some facts

Everyday 25 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour thats over 9000 people a year.

It is the biggest cancer killer of the under 40's, including children.

Brain tumours reduce life expectancy by on average 20 years - the highest of any cancer.  

Just 14% of adults survive for 5 years after diagnosis!!!

Over £500 million is spent on cancer research in the UK every year, yet less than 2% is spent on brain tumours!!
