I was diagnosed with cervical cancer the day after my son was born in 2001. The tumour was inoperable and therefore I had chemo and radio therapy. Thankfully I have been clear for 7 years and I enjoy life to the max!

I am going to Peru again to complete the trek of a life time. I will climb to 4500metres, sleeping in tents along the way and I can't wait!

The charity I am raising money for is called Jo's Trust. Jo's Trust was set up by her husband in memory of Jo who died from Cervical Cancer aged 40. It provides valuable information, seminars and has a panel of 40 medical experts and counsellors who give confidential advice and support to anyone who is effected by this disease. They are also lobbying in Parliment to reduced the age for cervical screening as many people die because they are below the national age for screening which is currently 25years old.
