My story
In September I will be taking part in a trek along The Great Wall of China!!!
The wall was originally constructed to keep out nomadic tribes who raided China's Northern frontier. Each day we will trek approximately 12kms along the stony, steep and sometimes slippery path - some sections renovated and others not - twisting and winding its way along the mountains, interspersed with crumbling watchtowers.
I'll be doing this to raise money for The Wisdom Hospice, in memory of my Dad, along with Mike Edlin who is raising money for Breast Cancer Care and Kathryn Sharratt who is raising money for Sue Ryder Care.

The Friends of The Wisdom Hospice
Charity Registration No. 284894
The Friends of The Wisdom Hospice supports the work of the only adult hospice serving Medway and Swale in Kent. It makes an annual grant to Medway Community Healthcare of £580,000 towards Hospice running costs. In addition it provides extra equipment and facilities that fall outside the MCH budget.
