Thanks for taking the time to visit my Marathon 2012 JustGiving page.

Having run the Geneva half-marathon twice, the logical next step had to be a marathon. And where else to do it but in London, where I grew up, in the Olympic year 2012?

42km is no easy feat so I'm hoping for lots of generous donations for my chosen charity.

The Brain Research Trust funds research into illnesses such as motor neurone disease, brain tumours, strokes, MS and Parkinson's, all of which can affect people of any age, causing debilitating symptoms and often death.

I'm so grateful to everyone that has made donations so far - my £5000 target is within reach! If you haven't done so already, donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Thank you!
