A group of daring and determined employees of Lawrence Graham LLP will be taking part in Tough Mudder on 8 June 2013. They are: Matthew Horlock, Katherine Farthing, Duncan Athol, Robert Gibson, Tom Miles, Laura Coey, Heather McCulloch, James Bailey and Alfred Liu.  We will be joined by a brave companion, Liz Peters.

 

So what is Tough Mudder? This is not your average mud run or spirit-crushing ‘endurance’ road race. It’s an Ironman on steroids. It's a 12 mile obstacle assault course designed by the British Special Forces to test all round strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie.

 

Tough Mudder consists of 20+ dread-filling obstacles such as the "Electroshock Therapy", the "Fire Walker", the "Devil's Beard" and if that wasn't bad enough, lashings of ice cold water thrown in for good measure...

Why are we putting ourselves through this? 

 

For Auditory VerbalUK (AVUK). We want to raise money to support the life changing work that AVUK carries out on a daily basis.
