My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you know, I am a professional golfer playing on the Ladies European Tour. In April this year, while playing, I tore the TFCC cartilage in my wrist - an injury which has a recovery time of three months. During the early stages of my injury I found it very difficult to find positivity and became somewhat reclusive, but with the help of my closest friends and family, I decided to turn all of my attention and focus to fitness.  I have been working out and running every day for the last five weeks and I am feeling so much benefit, not only to how I look physically but also to how I feel mentally.  And it was just a few days ago, on 4th June, that I noticed an article on the website of my football team, Tottenham Hotspur.  They were advertising for seven lucky people to run in the British 10k with Spurs legend David Howells.  I applied, thinking the spots would have already gone but that I'd try anyway.... And I was thrilled to hear back that one of those spots would be given to me!

I will be "Running4SOS" who do fantastic work for children who are orphaned, abandoned, or whose families are unable to care for them.

SOS Children's Villages are a fantastic charity, so please help me to help them
