On Sunday April 22nd I will be running in the Virgin London marathon 2012 and would very much appreciate your support in raising funds for a local children's charity called the Little Princess Trust www.littleprincesses.org.uk
The charity provides 'real hair' wigs to children suffering hair loss due to cancer treatments. Children's wigs can be very expensive and the charity was formed to enable children from all backgrounds to have access to 'real hair' wigs. The Little Princess Trust supply and fully fund the best wigs, especially designed for children and also provide personal fitting and styling to ensure the wig is as close as possible to the original hair
A serious illness like cancer or leukaemia is devastating enough and the trauma for both parent and child can be increased by worrying about the side effects of the treatment, particularly hair loss.
Therefore any donation, however big or small is greatly appreciated. Oh and by the way, for the Dalek to make an appearance I need to raise at least £500!
