Leukaemia CARE Christmas Appeal
Christmas can be a difficult time for those affected by a blood or lymphatic cancer. One of the ways that Leukaemia CARE helps is by providing a Nurse Specialist who can give one-to-one emotional and practical support throughtout a patient's treatment and give general advice to patients, their carers and families on the ward. They continue to offer support throughout the transition from the routine of hospital life back to a life at home. Sadly lack of funding means that not every patient has access to a specialist nurse. This Christmas we want to change that. We want to raise enough money to fund another nurse specialist.
