I now know more details about my placement in Japan. I am going to be working in the Red Cross Hospital in Ashikaga, Tochigi Prefecture. Its 50 miles north of Tokyo and is a beautiful area of Japan. I can't wait!!

Sadly the Skydive was cancelled due to the winds being too strong. It has now been rescheduled for the 20th November. So fingers crossed for good weather!!!

Tomorrow I will be jumping out of a plane doing a 13,000ft tandem skydive to raise some money, wish me luck!!!!!

Hi, my name is Liam and I am raising money to help fund my 6 month placement volunteering in Japan with the Japanese Red Cross supported by Lattitude Global Volunteering. The placement will be in a Japanese Red Cross Hospital helping in any way I can.
I speak basic Japanese and have been working as a fully qualified radiographer in the NHS for the past 3 years and hope to use the skills I have gained to make a difference whilst helping in the Hospitals in Japan.
To raise money I will be holding numerous bake sales, bag packing at local supermarkets, holding raffles, having car boot sales and much more. Keep checking back for updates!
