On the 29th December 2009 a team of six is planning to do a bike ride from Bournemouth town centre to Southampton centre, dressed as santa and on tandem bikes covered in tinsel. (so keep an eye out for us!!!) 

This is going to take us approximately eight hours, yes, you read right EIGHT HOURS!!!

This is a challenge for all six of us as we are not super fit, we are not previous triathlon participants and nor are we previous marathon runs. We just all in one way or another have had an experience in being faced with life’s challenges. We all hold in our own way a great empathy for young people who are battling through their struggles or who just need some one who will give them a chance in life. We wanted to take on this life changing challenge to help support the Trusts target group.

There are more than one million young people in the not in education, employment or training. The Prince's Trust focuses its efforts on those people who need our help the most.The Princes Trust charity helps so many young people strive to success and continue supporting the young people as they persist to reach for their dreams and goals. This is why our team has chosen the Princes Trust as the charity to support.

If you get a chance, come and join us in Southampton at the finishing line for hot chocolate and minced pies.
