My story
Good Egg-conomics!
Link Romania needs your help for their Easter Chicken Appeal to help support the work of the Cosnita Soup Kitchen, Moldova.
The Soup Kitchen is run tirelessly by local couple Ruvim and Pasa and supplies a crucial lifeline to almost 100 people, including whole families and the Elderly, EVERY DAY, 365 days a year! At the moment the Soup Kitchen can only afford to serve soup and pasta to its visitors, therefore people’s diets can be short of vital protein necessary for good health.
This is where YOUR HELP is very much needed to make a massive difference to the lives of people in Cosnita. We are running an appeal to buy chickens for the Soup Kitchen as this will provide a vital source of protein for those in need. Are you able to make a one off £2, £3 or £5 donation towards a chicken as perhaps a gift instead of buying an Easter egg? Alternatively, you could make a monthly donation of £5 to support the crucial sustainability of this project. Whatever you are able to give, know that EVERY PENNY will really make a huge impact on the continuing work of the Soup Kitchen and the lives of those who go there.
We have calculated that it would cost around £2500 to run this project and provide protein for the Soup Kitchen for a year, so we have set an initial target of £500, but, with your help, we hope to make this a sustainable project for years to come.
