Welcome to your new improved fundraising page. Find out what's changed and why.

What's new?

  1. The new header makes it much easier to see all the fundraising info at a glance. Plus, the page can now be shared to more social networks to encourage more people to give.
  2. The charity information is much more prominent, highlighting the cause you’re supporting.
  3. The new gallery makes it easier to see the images and video.
  4. Dedicated sections show the teams and companies you’re part of, emphasising the fundraising community you belong to.

What's coming?

The new design will also allow us to introduce some great features very soon to help you tell your fundraising story, like page updates, themes and a new page summary. Read all about these and other upcoming changes on our blog.

My story

Oh no its that time again when every two years I think up another stupid challenge for Link Romania and completely forget that I have to take part! Next time its definately scuba diving in the Bahamas however this time its cycling 206 miles across Moldova.  On nice tarmac roads that might not be too bad but has anyone seen the potholes in Moldova recently?

I will be off between 19th - 27th May and raising money for our fantastic projects in Eastern Europe all of which I have visited and know precisely where every penny raised is going to be spent - well its my job I suppose!  The Inn of Love for very impoverished elderly folk, to Emmaus Club for children with special needs, to our kindergarten for the children of the local shanty town.  Farm of Hope for ex-orphanage boys and the Soup Kitchen we have built and support.  And lots of other projects in Eastern Europe besides.

I would ask you to make a donation to the cause - and I know times are very tight so even the smallest amount will be very gratefully recieved.  Right off on my bike - total training so far is one spinning class and my cycle to work (which is 1 mile).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
