Story
Lisa was diagnosed with breast cancer on 1st June 2009 aged 35. During treatment breast cancer care were a wonderfull informative source of support for younger Women diagnosed with Breast Cancer. They helped Lisa get in touch with other younger women effected by breast cancer. They sent Lisa away on a weekend with other fellow younger women with breast cancer. Lisa found the weekend amazing, and it really helped her with all aspects of coming to terms with having breast cancer.
It is Lisa 's 5th year of being cancer free. To celebrate this Lisa and her work colleagues and family members have decided to raise some money for breast cancer care to continue to fund these amazing younger womens weekends. Lisa and the team of 12 people who are currently working hard to get ready for a Snowdon Climb on the 4th October 2014.
