Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In November 2010 I will be cycling 450kms across Cambodia with International Childcare Trust.  Many of you generously supported me when I cycled through Tanzania with ICT last year for which I am very grateful.  See ICT's video of Cycle Tanzania here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xdgy5DvFQOI

On Cycle Tanzania, visiting the project in Morogoro really made an impression and having witnessed how your money is used and the difference that ICT and their partners make, I decided to join ICT again in a cycle across Cambodia.  The cycle finishes up at the ICT project in Sihanoukville, which is working to support and protect vulnerable street children.

ICT is a small charity that works with local NGOs in Africa and Asia to help some of the poorest children in those regions.  ICT tends to support projects outside of the main towns where larger charities don't operate.  They work with street kids and children whose lives have been affected by poverty and AIDS, aiming to give them some semblance of a childhood and to preprae them for life.

In Cambodia, ICT work with  M’Lop Tapang - a community-based NGO founded in 2003, which empowers street children by providing them with the tools, resources and opportunities they need to build a better future.  They offer regular meals, shelter, medical care, education, counselling, and protection from all types of abuse. They also work to increase awareness in the community about issues affecting street children.

M'Lop Tapang work with over 2500 street living and working young people and their families at 9 centers in the Sihanoukville area. They work closely with schools, the police and local authorities to help make the community a safer place for all children.

Any support that you can give, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated - your donations really do make a difference.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for your support.
