LATEST UPDATE!!
On April 18th 2010 I took part in the first ever Brighton Marathon to raise money for Arthritis Research UK. I jogged the entire first 23 miles but then walked 2 miles as I was having problems with my knee! But I managed to run the last mile over the finish line - hooray! My personal finish time was 05:14:51 It was tough but a great day :)
Thank for all your donations so far. Keep them coming! Donations made now will still all go towards the total raised until 31st May.
Arthritis is a degenerative disease that is often overlooked and forgotten about but it deeply affects those who suffer from it. Arthritis Research UK has been responsible for funding many of the latest drug treatments available today, including those on which my mum depends for her continued mobility and well-being. They also fund vital research into treatment therapies for child sufferers (like my friend) and improved joint replacement technology for those with advanced joint degeneration (again applicable to my mum).
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
THANK YOU!! xxx :-) xxx
