WE DID IT! Starting off around 8.30pm and finishing around 5am we had a brilliant time despite the hard slog. Wow, 20 miles really is a long way to walk. The London Night Hike combines some of Londonist's favourite things: Open House weekend, urban exploration and harebrained challenges. We put a call out on the site for readers to volunteer to walk it with us and lo, an amazing 8 people picked up the gauntlet, ready to walk 20 miles, overnight on the eve of Open House Weekend, to raise money for Maggie's Cancer Care Centres.
