Hellloooo! So firstly thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. If you don't know me, my names Lorna, i'm 19 and currently studying at the University of Sheffield. (& if you do know me - hi pals) 

I'm running 5k for Kidney Research UK. Now it might not seem very far to some people- but i'm a sprinter so 5K feels like a million miles to me. I'll be running the Great North 5K and i'd love it if you could help me reach my target of £250. 

Kidney Research UK is the largest UK funder for research into chronic kidney disease, looking into causes, prevention and cures. I chose this charity because my mum suffers with chronic kidney disease and is lucky enough to be receiving a kidney transplant from my wonderful auntie. Although I appreciate that not everyone is as lucky as to receive a live transplant. I guess this is an ode to my mum and auntie and the strength they've both shown and so that I can help raise some money to contribute towards future chronic kidney disease patients.
