As you may know my Grandaughter Gemma has a syndrome called Cruzons, which means she has had to have a number of operations already in her life, and will need more. Her family joined headlines a support group for families with this and other related syndromes, I was priveledged to spend time at the AGM in April and it was good to see the positive support families can give each other and to see the children thriving. As well as providing information for families just coming to terms with the conditions.
I am walking the Dighty, this is a short river in Dundee, where I have been involved in doing some planting and monitoring of wildlfe. The walk is on Sunday 20th June and is around 11 miles. Now here comes the sob story I have had sciatica for around six months so have not been walking much, just getting back to it, so when the opportunity came up I decided to aim to get fit to complete the walk, and to use it as a means to raise a little money for Headlines.
I hope you will take the time to look at the work this charity does, and to sponsor my walk, and thank you
