UPDATE .... 12th July 2010
I'm so pleased to say that I completed the run and had the most amazing day. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and it was a great experience for me. To complete the race in 1 hour 5 minutes was an added bonus.
I started running in the summer of 2009 to lose weight and get fit. Now I've worked my way up to managing to run 10km and I'm sure this is helping me get in shape. Now if my running can help others in some way, how good that would be.
Through some very good friends, over the past 6 months I have met some amazing people at the Samson Centre where I do occassional voluntary work. They have inspired me to join in this venture to try and raise as much money as possible so that the Samson Centre can keep going and expand, thus helping provide treatment and support of Multiple Sclerosis in West Surrey.
We need to support those with MS, and their families and carers.
I pledge to train the best I can, to turn up at the 2010 London 10k and go the distance.
Would you please pledge a few pounds to the Samson Centre?
