I am raising money for the Gaucher Association, which is a cause close to my heart.
We know a delightful little girl, the same age as Georgia, who has type 3 Gaucher Disease.
Gaucher is a serious, inherited, metabolic disorder which results in the deficency of an enzyme preventing the cells and organs of the body functioning properly. In type 3 Gaucher disease there is a slow, progressive deterioration of the nervous system.
The Gaucher Association fund vital research into the disease as well as providing help and support to families living with it.For more information on the Gaucher Association please see the logo to the left.
