We can do no great things, only small things with great love. ~ Mother Teresa
My heart desires to find a way to help people reduce their suffering and live life in peace and love. I have been working on accumulating the tools/skills I require to be able to try and even make a small dent on this vision of mine. To start me off on this path I have chosen - or maybe it chose me....an alternative approach to perceiving and treating people's imbalances.
This approach is Homeopathy. A system of healing which considers the whole person and aims to empower the individual to operate at their optimum - whatever that may be.
I am now fortunate enough to be able to free myself from my current life in London and dedicate myself, for three months, to a Homeopathy clinic in Botswana. Here I will be able to practice Homeopathy, supporting people who are suffering from HIV and AIDS and perhaps make a small difference to someone's life.
The Maun Homeopathy Project offers free Homeopathy treatment to help people and ease their symptoms of HIV and AIDS. Currently run by a rolling programme of dedicated volunteer homeopaths the Maun Homeopathy Project is always in need of financial support to keep the service running.
The smallest amounts of money can go a long way, for instance:
£5 can help one person in Maun get the homeopathic treatment they need.
£50 can ensure that a volunteer (just like me) can get to one of the outreach clinics to help those that cannot travel to the town clinic.
So, for the price of a couple of pints and packet of crisps, or a couple of hot chocolates or even a cheap dinner at your favourite Vietnamese restaurant on Kingsland Road you could support me in my vision and endeavours by donating now and giving much needed support to the Maun Homeopathy Project.
Thank you so much - I am grateful for any support you can give.
Much love
Louise
