Story
I haven't been on a bike for 12 years, so what better way to get back into cycling, than sign up for a trip to Paris! Taking 4 days, 80 miles a day, we leave from central London at 7am on 13 April and cycle to Dover before getting the ferry over to Calais. A few more miles and we finish the first day. The next three days we will cycle through the French countryside arriving at the Eiffel Tower in the afternoon of day 4.
The training is going well. It is lovely to be out cycling early on a Sunday morning, in the spring sunshine, especially after starting the training schedule in the cold and ice that we had in January. Fingers crossed for fine weather and low winds, during the trip itself!!
I am raising money for the Albert Kennedy Trust, which provides housing, care and mentoring for homeless young adults. Information about the charity is given below their logo on this page.
