When I joined a group walking in Yorkshire for four days in April little did I know that I would be back there within four months doing a rather more challenging day's walking. Most of you will know I enjoy walking but a marathon, with three peaks en route, is certainly a challenge for me in this year of a significant age!! I have done a bit of training in the area of the Chilterns but of course on the day it will be longer, higher and of course the weather will have some impact too. So think of me and the four friends doing the peaks with me on 13th August
