Luca first started at the Jigsaw School when he was five years old, he was non verbal and a complete handful. Now he is ten, he can read, write, count, talk and sing.
We are running this race to raise money to help Jigsaw enrich the lives of other children with Autism and their families as much as they have ours.
In particular we want to buy computers and software. Autism is a communication disorder, alot of the pupils at Jigsaw, like Luca, are visual learners. New technology can enable an intellectually capable non verbal child to communicate.
The Jigsaw school is expanding in so many different areas and taking in more and more children. Each laptop costs about £350.
