The Gorilla Organization works to protect the endangered mountain gorilla in its native habitat. It also works to ensure that local people benefit from their unique natural heritage. The Organization, founded by the late Dian Fossey who lived with the gorillas, is involved in education, conservation and public awareness.

My story

Last year, Clare and I were lucky enough to be able to visit the Sabinyo group of gorillas in the Parc National des Volcans, North-West Rwanda. It was one of the most special hours of our lives.

On September 26 we're running through the streets of London to raise £1000 for The Gorilla Organisation in their annual Great Gorilla Run. Dressed as gorillas!

The Gorilla Organization works internationally to save the world's last remaining gorillas in the wild. They fund small local projects that tackle the real threats to the gorillas' long term survival such as habitat destruction and poverty of local people.
