Hello

As you will see I am trying to raise money for Salisbury Fertility Centre (SFC) and the Southern Spinal Injuries Trust (SSIT). Roy and I are having treatment with SFC - they are a very caring and supportive team, and as you will know Roy has a spinal cord injury and SSIT do a great job in supporting those with a spinal cord injury in our local area.

I am NOT a natural born runner - Roy describes me as a space hopper - whatever that is! BUT, I am going to run a 10km route from The George Inn, Vernham Dean (a splendid pub run by my Dad and Step-Mum) via Linkenholt, Upton and then back to The George on the 1st November starting at 10.30am.

I may be calling on my nurse friends to resuscitate me at the end!

To positively impact on the health and quality of life of spinally injured patients – both in the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre and those living in its catchment area - assisting with the provision of equipment, which enables greater independence and participation in society again.
