Ok - I got over the knee op and after lots of physio (and the need to get Chris round after all the kindly donations) managed to complete the Jane Tomlinson Leeds 10k in July.

It then seemed like such a good idea to do another one, so with the encouragement of a few of the "cricket mums" who are also taking part I signed up for the Abbey Dash 10k on the 21st November.

I thought I had plenty of time to train and beat my time, but work has been busy and its now cold, dark and wet, and I've left it rather late ... still I'll get round somehow!

This time I am raising funds for the Eve Appeal which focuses on gynaecological cancer research - a cause close to my heart at the moment having just lost my Aunt to ovarian cancer, and with another acquaintance currently undergoing treatment.

I will be very grateful for any donations, every little really does help.
