Many of you may know that my sister and Dad have been diagnosed with Coeliac Disease - an intolerance to wheat and gluten. It also looks like my younger brother may also suffer from the disease. Coeliac disease means that they are very limited as to what they can eat, and does make it tough sometimes to eat out. They have to be extremely careful about their diet, ensuring that they stick to it. If they do not stick to it, it can cause a lot of health problems, some of them potentially very serious.
I wanted to do the Great South Run on behalf of Coeliac UK to not only raise money and awareness for the charity, which provides tremendous help and support to sufferers of the disease, as well as their families, but to provide some moral support to my family by doing somthing that I will find a challenge!
I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, and beg of you all to dig deep and donate some money to Coeliac UK! I will update my page with news and photos when I can to let you know how I'm getting on!
