As some of you may know I will take part in the British 10k run for the Civil Service Benevolent Fund next Sunday. The charity helps current, former and retired civil servants who are struggling. Last year the fund distributed an impressive £4.5 million in grants and allowances to more than 7,000 people. The plans for this year are even more ambitious.
Because you have probably no time to read lengthy emails just a few reasons why it is a good idea to donate:
- you can do something good for those in need
- this is my first fund raising experience. If it goes well it will motivate me to keep on running and raising money. This means that every pound you donate can turn into hundreds of pounds in the future
- do this simply for me. I have only 5 days to raise some money and you do not want me to be the worst fundraiser ever
- in odrder to give you value for money - for those who decide to go on the above link two very embarrassing pictures of myself so you can have a proper laugh while donating
I will be grateful for every pound you will decide to donate.
Wish me a good luck on Sunday. It will not be easy
