My story

At 13 months of age my mother decided to change career path from a life dedicated to fashion, to a life dedicated to children. I have just turned 21 and my parents are still dedicated and passionate foster carers. To this date I have spent my life living with over 200 children all from different walks of life. The most common similarity that children have when they come into care is their emotional and physical obstacles. A lot of children suffer from emotional problems such as anger management, depression and find it hard to form relationships. A lot of children also suffer from physical problems often due to their mothers substance and alcohol abuse when pregnant. As part of a foster family it is mine, my siblings and my parents jobs to help make any child overcome any fears they may have and help them get their life on track to live a healthy and happy life. We also rely on social services to aid with any additional professional services a child may need. Along with relying on hospitals to help with getting a child's health on track. Great Ormond Street children hospital is a fantastic place for any child going through any kind of suffering. It provides children with  a safe and warming environment and all the staff are exceptionally professional.

The one thing I wanted to exploit when I was thrown into the limelight last year through TOWIE, was to raise awareness for helping children. I know my money would go to amazing use for GOSH and help them continue there amazing work at the hospital. So in order to persuade all of you on how passionate I am for this cause. I'm cycling 485km around India over 6 days. Some days cycling for 10 hours in the scorching heat and sleeping in tents (very far away from my Essex glamour.) Please help me on my adventure by donating as much as you can all donations will go straight to Great Ormond Street Hospital. #EssextoIndia A huge thank you from me and my family Lydia X
