Story
I am writing 15,000 words on my NaNoWriMo project this Saturday to raise $150 for Syria Relief. If you donate any amount, send me the weirdest word you can think of and I will incorporate it into what I write!
If you are already donating to an organization working on the crisis in Syria, I would love for you to send them an extra $5 or $10 this month and let me know about it! I will consider that part of this total and write accordingly (and yes, you still get to send a word if you donate that way.)

Join us 12 November 2016 for the 24 hour word sprint where writers increase their word count in fantastic company AND raise money for Syria Relief, this year’s selected charity.
Syria Relief is a registered UK charity whose aim is simply to ‘relieve the suffering and support the future.’ It has a solid network of committed management and logistics staff on the ground inside Syria—currently numbering at around 1,600—which means they can deliver humanitarian aid in all areas, including the hard-to-reach rural and some besieged areas. In the short space of time since its inception, Syria Relief has established its reputation as a trusted and efficient humanitarian aid agency on the ground, with a track record of the highest level of transparency and feedback.
