Well, we did it! The 20km took us six hours - we could have power walked it but as Ferris says, 'Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it...'
Thanks so much for all you support. Together with the other walkers we have raised over £1,200 for Target TB. That sum could save 30 lives this year in India and Africa.
You probably know how outraged I am that a disease that is completely preventable and curable is still killing millions of people each year. Some of the poorest people in the world are dying needlessly. Yet, it only takes around £40 to cure someone of TB and stop them infecting up to 15 other people.
