Lynne has had a mastecomy, reconstruction to avoid harsh treatments due to allergies that her two oncologist agree she would not do well on standard chemotherapy. She is going to have Immunotherapy, a cancer vaccine when she is at minimal disease. This has been anounced as the future in the UK by the DOH on Newsnight BBC. Just they say they need the funding.

Lynne can't wait. It has already returned in Oct 2011. Having two further surgeries she went to Israel for LipoPlatin and old known effective chemo but encapsulated and delivered only to the cancer. it seeks out pourous veins that the cancer creates as a blood supply and drops it only there. Avoiding toxicity. ALong with Oncothermia.

She thought she was then at minimal disease and returned to the UK with the plan to have the Cancer Vaccine in May 2012 and to draw a line. She had a very good chance of a cure.

Sadly the NHS has dragged their heels in speed in providing support, the drugs they agree she needs as not standard and too expensive ( one being £1 each ?) so she has not had the kind of protection needed. unfortunatley this has meant she has to now have further investigations and possible use the current £ raised again on Lipoplatin to return to minimal disease. Whilst she is praying for a miracle there is still the money for the Cancer Vaccine and next part which is approx £30k which includes parts that go with this, PET scan, tests, accomodation and flights.

So any donation large or small means an awful lot.. it means she has a future without cancer in her life. You can find out more, watch videos as she raises awareness of these new pioneering treatments that you can also have in Germany or Israel and trials have begun again in the UK since a £20 million anonymous donation was made to CRI and univ of sounthampton. SO this IS the future.. and you can help make this happen for Lynne and everyone here in the UK.

I have started a new website where people affected by Cancer can pool their knowledge. Together we can find a better, kinder way to conquer this terrible disease.

I am fundraising for my own treatments for my breast cancer and am using my own journey to raise awareness and to try to make this available for everyone in the UK. The cancer treatments I would like to undergo use personalised immune therapies with reduced toxicity. The personalised approaches aim to rehabilitate and/or regulate the patient’s immune system, or to introduce donor immune-system cells, to effectively fight disease. This would not only help treat my cancer but would help me to regain my health which was compromised ten years ago, when I was diagnosed by Guy’s Hospital as having had a devastating allergic reaction to mercury and amalgam.
