I have finished my slimathon. I eventually have lost a grand total of 11lbs in weight, which means I am slimmer than I ever have been since 2005, so I am happy. Sorry I didn't lose the whole 15lbs guys. But hopefully as a consolation, I am continuing to go to the gym and eat healthier as a result of this challenge... AND more importantly you have donated some cash to a REALLY REALLY good cause for the 'Headlines Charity Children'. Thanks for your support. xxxxxxxxx
It is 11th July and I have 9 days until deadline!!!... not that I am giving up on my just giving promise (I would never do that), but I wanted to let you all know that I am now 12stone and 3lbs rather than the 12.12 and a half, that I was at the beginning. I can't see how I am going to get to 11.11 by next wednesday, but I am going to continue with my healthier eating and excersise regardless. I have dropped a dress size which I am over the moon with. Will let you know my overall result next week. Hopefully even if I am a few pounds off the target - you will all feel compelled to still give your donation to headlines due to what the charity does irrespective of my slimathon. If I don't make it and you would like to be reimbursed, then I will happilly do that.
FYI, this has spurred me on, and I intend to continue to eat more healthily and excersise - up until reaching 11 stones, where I'm sure I'll feel healthier. xxxxxxx
Slimathon Update...
With the deadline on July 20th looming. I still have 8 and a half stubborn pounds to move before I hit the pool in France this summer.
I have to lose 4.5 lbs every week for the next fortnight to guarantee to my pledgers that it was a good decision to sponsor me.
I have been a member of Meyrick Park gym for the last week and a half and am putting in the hours (when permitted) to doing some long needed fitness training. Think of me at 9.30 on Monday doing Body Pump!! I am feeling the difference around my waist but the scales are proving difficult to convince?!
Thank you for your support. The money will be going to Headlines Craniofacial Charity. It is the UK's support for families with children with craniosynostosis, like Monty Welstead (our son).
