Thanks for visiting my (first!) fundraising page.

On 9th September - I'm Cycling from London to Paris (would you believe it?!) in memory of my beautiful brother Gary (pictured) - who very sadly died a few years ago at the age of 33 (way too young).

Gary, who was incredibly active and athletic, experienced an unexpected heart problem (through a virus) and, despite a successful and complex heart operation, he experienced a brain haemorrhage post-operatively. He was kept alive on a life support machine until we (the family) had to make the hard decision to let Gary die.

It all reads doom and gloom -  but sharing experiences like these hopefully helps put the importance of charities like these into perspective....(and gets you to dig a little deeper!!)
