The prospect of climbing the three highest peaks in the UK in under 24 hours is a daunting one! Some may even go as far as to call it ‘Utter Madness’, OR EVEN ‘Crazy’
Described as one of the UK’s ultimate challenges, Mail Workshop have decided to get involved! With a total combined height of 3406 metres, we will be climbing a total of 2943 metres in an allocated time of 14 hours – equating to 420 meters of ascent per hour. In addition, we expect to be driving  for 10 hours between mountains.

Mark Rosenberg, the Managing Director of Mail Workshop has offered full support to the cause, and the company will be covering the costs associated with the challenge as part of the overall contribution.

We will be taking on the challenge on July 17th / 18th 2010 in support of a local Charity – Rainbows Hospice.

Who are Rainbows?
Rainbows is a Loughborough-based charity, founded by Gail and Harry Moore 15 years ago.  They provide care and support for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.  With very little government funding, the charity is dependent on donations.  All children need the chance to be children; to laugh, love and play.  Rainbows aim to improve the quality of life, help relieve symptoms and support parents / siblings through difficult times.  Unfortunately, for some of these children, they don’t live long enough to experience much, but all donations go towards making their time a memorable one and making dreams come to life.  Please help to make a difference to a child’s life today and support us on our quest up the three peaks.  Any amount, great or small is very appreciated.

We are pleased to be combining our efforts with that of our Sales Manager – Mark Hurdis & his son Max Hurdis. Mark has a niece – Amber Sissian who suffers from Hallervan-Spatz & does attend Rainbows on a regular basis.  Mark & Max are going to do some fund raising for Rainbows in support of Amber by climbing up Snowdon. This isn’t the first event they have done in support of Amber, and it isn’t likely to be the last.  Max (aged 6) and Mark will be joining the team for the last leg. All contributions will be combined and donated to Rainbows.

We would like to ask for your support for Rainbows & for us to undertake this challenge
